Our Client:
Our client is one of the top leading FMCG companies with its headquarters in Japan dealing with wholesale distribution of chemicals and food products guided by bioscience and fine chemical technologies. Their Singapore office is looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive (Trading).
The Responsibilities:
• Product: Packaging materials for food
• Prepare annual sales plan and sales target
• Work closely with customers on planning their materials needs (i.e. to source and requisite food packaging materials for their manufacturing use)
• Work closely with suppliers and co-ordinate on behalf of customers on meeting products' specifications and delivery schedule
• Handle and follow up feedback and claims from customers
• Work closely with sales admin and logistics support team on shipment coordination and arrangement in order to meet delivery timeline
• Prepare sales/marketing reports for the management review
• Monitor and ensure timely payment from customers
• Make day trips to Johor Bahru to ensure printing accuracy and production run smoothly and successfully
• Make overseas business trips to visit customers to build stronger rapport and customers service level
• Establish connection and communication with Japan headquarter on technical advises and support for quality control issues
• Monitor and ensure suppliers’ service and quality are always at optimal level
• Introduce and present new products and packaging solutions to customers
• Negotiate with suppliers and principals on pricing and better trading terms
• Source for new products, solutions and suppliers for business expansion and cost effectiveness
